Welcome to the Development Co-operative Ltd.

If you or your organisation would like to join, please complete the application form.

Membership categories

Co-operative Development Bodies can become members of the Development Co-op. You are the key providers of work we secure. We expect to charge a 10-15% administration fee on our tender applications to ensure the consortium’s capacity to operate is maintained. We expect to pay members a fair organisational rate, though sometimes, part of that payment will be in DC shares. Any offers to members will make those rates clear from the outset. For current offers and rates click here. You will be expected to contribute some time each year to DC’s governance and reputational presence as well as participate in our strategic development decisions.

Co-operative development workers and businesses that include co-operative development services such as accountants, legal professionals and other specialists who offer services to co-operatives and social enterprises. As members we want to work with you to promote your services and to enable the Development Co-op to offer products that can offer an alternative to the big five accountancy firms, for the sector. For current offers and rates click here. You will be expected to contribute some time each year to DC’s governance and reputational presence as well as participate in our strategic development decisions.

Supporters will have the opportunity to engage with the co-operative development movement in a number of ways. Partnerships, event collaborations, share offers and other activities will provide a few of the ways in which we can co-operate. You will be expected to contribute some time each year to DC’s governance and reputational presence as well as participate in our strategic development decisions.
